The customer wanted to cut costs on their hosted email platform. Therefore they decided to migrate from their hosted exchange service to Office 365. They needed to make sure that they wouldn’t lose any emails, they wouldn’t experience any downtime or any service disruption whatsoever.
We’ve prepared a pilot environment on which we’ve tested 2 different migration scenarios, using native Office 365 tools. We’ve collaborated with the customer in order to avoid misunderstandings and user downtime. We also aided employees to connect their devices to the new environment via knowledge base posts, automatic redirection and/or remote support sessions.
We have successfully migrated all mailboxes and connected all devices to Office 365 . We’ve also managed to avoid any service downtime, by enabling the synchronization and coexistence of both environments for a short period of time.
