Facebook updated its events application to include an “Events for you tab” that recommends happenings it thinks you like.
You are probably thinking that it is the same as the older “suggested events”, but it is not! “Events for you” is based on information you have shared with Facebook and other related data as the location and the day of the week.
Facebook can analyze an event, evaluate what it’s about and who is attending, and use that data to match it to appropriate people. This is so important that it could become its own standalone platform. Time will tell!
